Advertising on AdWords? Check Out The New Headline Format
Google ads are great - but if you're advertising on AdWords and want to get good results (who doesn't!) you'll need to stay on top of the changes Google are frequently introducing.
So with that in mind, you'll want to be aware of a new ad format Google have been testing recently.
Here's the before shot:

Here's the sexy new after shot:

Exciting huh!
Well we think so, but we're kinda geeky like that :)
As you can see, the first line of the ad description has been moved up to the headline.
According to Google this helps searchers better identify what the ad is about - and more importantly for advertisers - increases the clickthrough rate.
Sound good?
Here's what you need to be aware of:
Google will only move the first line of the description up to the headline if they can detect that it is a complete sentence.
That means you need to make sure that you add a full stop (or some other punctuation indicator) to the first line of your ad description.
Your ad will also need to be appearing in one of the premium ad slots above the organic search results.
Make sense? Great!
